Joe Tallarigo~ The Dark Poet and Outlaw Writer

Hank Williams Senior: The first double cd I listened to. His songs stand the test of time and influenced my sad songs. It's interesting that he died going to Oak Hill Virginia, and I started writing at Oak Hills High School. His first #1 was also recorded in my hometown.

Check out his songs "I'll Never Make it out of this world alive", "Hey Good Looking", "Rambling Man".

Waylon Jennings: His outlawish ways made him infamous in Nashville. He did it his way and inspired me to do things my way.

His influence is still heard today and his music will stand the test of time.

Check out his double live cd, it's the best live cd ever made.

Merle Haggard: A real life prisoner who changed his ways. His songs about Trains, Mama, Prisons, and just being a fugitive inspired my rambling ways.

Check out his songs: Mama Tried, Rambling Fever, My Favorite Memory, Silver Wings, I made the Prison Band.

Kenny Chesney: A Tennessee boy to a beach bum. His songs inspired my writings especially from 2002-2008. His songs are about good times, friends, and trying to find peace on the road.

George Strait: The most #1 songs ever plus 30 years of hits. He never changed his direction or compromised his style of singing good songs. His songs have inspired my writings.
