2018 is coming to a close, and what an amazing year it has been for me. I have sold my books at over twenty vendor shows this past year. I met and had the pleasure of reading my poetry with the new Cincinnati Poet Laurette Manual Iris. I began performing my poetry at Common Roots. I am currently selling my books at Hallmark in Rookwood Commons.
So what does 2019 hold for me: A new book "Keep the Music Playing" debuting in March of 2019 under my new publishing company Twin Hills Publishing LLC. I will also be releasing a follow up to Country Outlaws and Dark Poetry with a new book titled "Southern Gothic and Outlaw Country" by September. I will also be signing up for more vendor shows and more reading events.
My name is Joe Tallarigo, I'm 33, and with my two new books that came out on October 7, 2017. I am returning to my roots with poems about growing up in Price Hill, going to Americana, watching the fireworks at Riverfest, writing about Opening Day, two Cincinnati Reds icons, attending Oak Hills High School, visiting my brother up in Bowling Green, Ohio, and dealing with the deaths of my aunt, uncle, grandma, and mom. The titles are "Forever in my Heart" and "Life Goes On"
I have written a total of four poetry books and on October 23, 2018, it will be seventeen years since I wrote my first poem "Stay Around" at Oak Hills.

My childhood house in Price Hill. This house held many family parties, friends were welcome, and I spent many days on the hill watching the storms move in from the West. It was tore down in 2014 for the new Boys and Girls Club and dedicated during the Major League All-Star game in July 2015.
My official book signing at Jim and Jacks in May of 2012.
